Lent: Part 17

Cleopatra (1963) – Seriously, guys, if I’m going to sit through a four-hour, Eropean-release version of one of history’s great romances, I expect to see some nudity, and I do not count the accidental glimpse of Richard Burton’s upper thigh under the little man skirt he wore. At this point, I’d settle for some Liz Taylor side-boob action.

Hey, cool journal. Just surfed on in with the key word “William Haines,” was kinda surprised to see another Billy fan in here. He was awesome in Show People and Tell It to the Marines. Add me? 🙂

To be honest, I put William Haines on my interests back in my more pretentious days, just after I had seen a glimpse of him in some documentary about gays in the film industry. I haven’t actually seen any of his movies and I don’t really know that much about him. I am ashamed, but I will add you back.

That’s cool, thanks. I do like your taste in movies, I’m a classic movie buff as well. I can’t get enough of the classics and Tinseltown, when stars were really “stars.”

There was a fairly nude woman who danced briefly in one scene, but for my money’s worth, if I’m going to sit for four hours and only get boob, it had better be high-class Liz-Taylor boob.
