Lent: Part 1

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo, 1966) – We begin year four with a song:

I wish I were a total badass like Clint Eastwood. I’d casually roll cigars between my teeth, light matches with my fucking thumb, look good in a poncho, and become a celebrated director.

Remember, Saturday is Sita Sings the Blues. It’s going to be a fun six and a half weeks.

I insist that we have kazoos. I imagine any decent music store would have ukuleles to sell. My family used to have (might still) an old ukulele in need of strings, and I know my sister bought an orange ukulele in LA. There’ve got to be ukulele stores in Seattle.

Oh yeah! I used to work across the street from Dusty Strings. I should totally buy a ukulele and fail to ever play it. So should you, and you can join our ukulele band.

I would love to join the ukulele band. There are alot of other weird instruments at Lark in the Morning we could add to the band too. Like strange wooden things that make cool noises. They sell kazoos there too.
